A Quick Update

Good Morning! Well, it has been a long night but Isaac is still holding his own. His blood gases have improved slightly and he had come down a little on the ventilator but he is still on 100% oxygen. I think the doctors are just going to keep him stable for the day and see how he does. Please continue to pray for little Isaac as he is still fighting for his life and by God's grace he will pull through. Joe and I appreciate all of the prayers, love, and support you all have given us. It is nice to go online while here in the hospital and read your comments. Thank you!!!!

Jan and I are praying for all of you. I came across this in the Daily Bread for today. I hope it encourages you.

The storm will not last forever. Yet, while it rages, you can cling to the Lord’s promises of love and faithfulness, for His “testimonies are very sure” (Ps. 93:5). Waves of trouble and grief may sweep over you, but you will not be swept away. He “is able to keep you from stumbling” (Jude 24). Our Father in heaven is holding your hand. —David H. Roper

Dear Joe and Lori,

I just wanted to let you know that the ladies prayed for you this morning at ladies Bible Study. Throughout the night each time I woke up I was praying for you guys not even knowing about the roller coaster that you had been through yesterday with baby Isaac. Know that you will continue to be in our prayers.

Debbie Henney told us this morning that your mother and sister will be coming in today, but she did not have any more details. I wanted to let you know that Brian decided to work from home today so we would be more then glad to go to an airport/train station or bus terminal to pick them up. During Brian's first tour in DC he was part of a travelling tech team so he learned his way around all the airports in the area.

Please let us know if we can be of assistance in this matter. You can reach us at home (703) 799-3064 or if we have to run out to the bank or out to lunch you can reach us on our cell phone at (571) 242-0626. Know that we are here for you whatever you need.
